Scottys Body Shop

I originally went to Scotty's after calling around all over town to fix my mother-in-laws car (I backed into it in my driveway, didn't know it was there!). Since her car was over ten years old and not in very good shape, I was really looking for the low cost provider. I continue to return to Scotty's because they have always done good work at a fair price. From significant damage on a brand new car (my fault!) to cheap make-do repairs to one of my kids "beaters", I am always happy with the outcome. I have some dings and scratches on my newest car and I am going there today to get an estimate. Thanks, Scotty's!!!

I've had the worst autobody collision repair on a car that I'v ever seen. They quoted me for a new front right fender panel for $280. They didn't even replace my panel but instead decided to give me a $100 discount and gave some lame excuse of why they could't discount me for the entire new panel that they were charging me for. The buffing and painting job was pittiful. On the left rear quarter panel, a small part of the metal (2 inches long and 1/16 wide in the middle of the panel which is 8 inches above the rear wheel well) was exposed but instead of fixing it they decided to put touch up paint on it. Also, I'm not sure if they even put primer on the metal before they painted. I mean that it was completely bare metal that was exposed. They didn't even try to align my headlights with that fender damage. They left it as is and gave some more lame excuse as too why it wasn't done. They also charged me for a wheel alignment but with all of this stuff that they're giving me I don't think they even did the wheel alignment. Out of the $2200 they charged me for, I would say they ripped me off about $1200 worth of work and parts. I definitely do not recommend this place. It's just one big rip off.
